Hunter Biden will soon add a new title to his résumé as he joins Gina Carano and Joe Mark’s My Son Hunter.

The film about the son of Joe Biden is slated to begin filming this month in New Orleans and Hollywood. Given that the production company has been shooting scenes in Washington D.C. and New Orleans, it looks like the entire north shore of Louisiana will serve as a backdrop for the film.

When it was announced that the film would be put into development in 2015, details were few, including that it would tackle Joe Biden’s relationship with his son’s substance abuse.

Carano, who turned 30 last month, already had multiple box office hits under her belt. She starred in two seasons of the hit SyFy show Knight Rider, and starring as a tough-as-nails warrior in Strike Back.

She also starred in Fast & Furious 6, was set to star in an action film called Bulletproof, and was in the surprisingly good Terminator Genisys.

Hunter Biden is one of Washington’s most famous progeny. During his time in the United States Senate, he co-sponsored the Edwards Youth and Excellence in Public Service Act.

Biden is a medical doctor and does not intend to seek a political career in the future. He is a devout Democrat, however, who has not been shy about sharing his party affiliation on Twitter.
