UPDATE: Donald Trump throws his support behind Philadelphia judge after two fatally police killed

Joel Rosenthal reports:

The city has erected billboard outside City Hall to raise awareness of that case, and to showcase the case to a national audience.

“If it happened again, if it was to happen again, I would want a jury system that doesn’t throw away the convictions, that doesn’t throw away the convictions, that doesn’t allow the defense to throw out the convictions. If you’re convicted, justice will be done. If you aren’t convicted, you will be acquitted,” said Harris for mayor.

“I’m not saying the woman is innocent. What I am saying is that it is very important that the man is tried and convicted of murdering that woman and that’s what I want,” Harris said.

Since November, Mayor Jim Kenney has reported donating $500 each to Democratic candidates for statewide and national office. He’s also spent tens of thousands on political events.

Moran and Harris have both testified at Allen’s trial. They say her victory would change Philadelphia’s political scene forever.
