You’re both a media whore and someone who understands how to survive in the grey world of ITV. We get it! We want to give you some upcoming content that’s not shit, and so we’ve assembled a six-toy list of things we’re really excited about. From ReaBlack to the Fish Nerd, here’s what we’ve got on the hit list right now.
The T List will always be published this Wednesday, so give a little attention to these offerings from tomorrow’s edition.
#1: The T List Says Goodbye
5. Justin Wood (news) – Grand Canyon
From July 2017, the White Wolf News launches as a new, quality news/news satire website, based in Canada. Prior to this, Wood is a reporter at Vanity Fair. Wood will tweet his excellent “first-take” humour-trolling news sources from Ottawa, and will continue to chronicle his experiences at the University of Alberta’s Centre for the Study of Multiculturalism.
4. Ellen Pao (entertainment) – What a Job!
Ellen Pao runs a successful tech career research company from her San Francisco apartment. Pao has been a featured writer for a popular newspaper and runs a blog called Mommyish. Now she’s joining the New York Times.
3. Pamela Geller (entertainment) – Fool My America, One Crude Video at a Time
Pamela Geller is not a person we might normally recommend. But, come on. This is a new show, and we’re going to be heavy on excitement. Geller has a track record of controversy, but just keep it on! Watch this garbage-laden porn show and, wait for the tweets. They’ll be spectacular. #T1
2. Rod Dreher (books) – The Benedict Option
One of the loudest voices on the right in recent years, Rod Dreher, and a popular blogger at The American Conservative, is teaming up with Cara Buckley to publish his next, self-published book. The Benedict Option will follow “authoritative, conservative Christian leaders” like Peter Steinfels, Sam Brownback, Dr James Dobson, Anne and Charlotte Weigel, and Matthew Cavanaugh on a journey through the American landscape, drawing on Dreher’s life and work to draw a conclusion that is based on popular, intersectional but intuitive, evangelical doctrines about what the universe is doing to us. In short, it will be freakin’ wonderful!
1. ReaBlack (music) – The Long Day of the Cold War Pt. 2
Having beaten our rivals’ art department by two-and-a-half rounds to one, Tommy Tums and Davey Turner of ReaBlack are reaching back into their archives, and reuniting with a handful of classic ReaBlack releases we’ve been waiting for some time: the remix of the legendary Slayer cover (“Interstellar Suicide”) with Darroch, the remix of the classic “Divinity” (featuring Pop Evil’s Mickey Jones), and the continuation of the “ReaBlack Sledgehammer” remix series with Alex Hall. Definitely worth a listen to.
